Il Carpegna Mi Basta!

Finally caved in and gave my little finger to road biking this summer. Consequence? Instant addiction, new carbon frame bike and huge credit card bills. We spent three days cycling with a great bunch of friends in Riccione, Italy to extend the short Finnish season. What a place for a cyclist. The pinnacle of the trip was the climb of Marco Pantani’s training hill, Il Carpegna. Absolutely brutal (>20% gradient in places) but immensely rewarding.
